Nigeria High Commissioner to Ghana pays 3-day working visit to Nigerian Students at KNUST

The Nigerian High Commissioner, Mrs. Adebola Arewa has paid a 3-day working visit to all Nigerian Students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Mrs. Adebola Arewa said that her outfit would use the occasion to familiarize with Nigerians in KNUST and know how best they can support their welfare.

Nigerian staff and students in KNUST shared their grievances and challenges they face.

  • Accomodation and expenses.

Solutions to some challenges Nigerian Students at KNUST face

Mrs. Adebola Arewa assured that her office would work together with the office of the Dean of students to enable registration and renewal of passports available in Kumasi.

Some measures the Nigeria High Commissioner plans to take include the disbursement of citizenry forms to all Nigerians in KNUST.

In a statement copied to, Chargé D’affaires Mrs. Esther Adebola Arewa mentioned that as part of their 3-day working visit to interact with Nigerians in Kumasi, her outfit seized the opportunity to visit management of KNUST and interact with Nigerians on KNUST campus.

The Vice-Chancellor also assured Her Excellency, Arewa, that, the effective collaboration that exists between KNUST and Commission would continue to grow and be expanded into other areas.
