Billionaire, Ellon Musk has called on the World Food Programme (WFP) a branch of the UN to amount on how exactly 2% of his wealth can supposedly eliminate world poverty and hunger.
Earlier, October 26, 2021 the CNN made a report about the UN director’s comment on canceling poverty with $6b approximately 2% of Elon Musk’s wealth which amounts to over $311B according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
In a recent interview with CNN, UN World Food Programme Executive Director David Beasley declared that “2% of Elon Musk’s wealth” will be enough to address the world hunger crisis.
A few days later, Elon Musk created the tweet and asked WFP to show workings.
“If WFP can describe on this Twitter thread exactly how $6B will solve world hunger, I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it.” Elon Musk replied.

In the meantime, lecturer and researcher Dr. David Eli has raised an argument that in 2020 the UN World Food Program (WFP) raised $8.4B but was unable to eliminate world poverty and hunger.
